Generally, travelers call “Emerald Buddha or Wat Phara Si Rattana Satasadaram”. This famous temple is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand. It had been built since Rama I (1,737), he was the founder of Rattanakoson Kingdom and the first monarch of reigning Chakri dynasty of Siam (Current). The hi-light of this temple is beautiful mural panting, which is telling story about Ramakien (Derived from the Hindu epic Ramayana). The story telling is about 178 mural painting room, which is the longest story in the world. Therefore, all Thai people have to visit this temple at least 2-3 time of their life. Moreover, almost of travelers tends to visit Wat Phra Keaw at least one time when they visit Thailand.

All visitors must wear a formal suit (Short, skirt and sport bar are not permitted to enter this place). However, staffs provide you a formal suit before getting inside this temple.
